You can control and choose your thoughts. Only because you have not been taught to do this, or practiced this, does it appear to be difficult. It takes a lot more energy than you realize to continually overlook something that is right under you nose.

You have the ability to suspend all judgments and negative thoughts of your self and others. This is similar to driving a car. You can observe when you have a negative thought that pushes on the gas pedal of judging, blaming, criticizing and complaining, then you can follow these thoughts to an impasse, or you can put on the brakes. If you choose not to put on the brakes and not change direction, you will most likely crash into something or someone. This quick negative reaction of judgment based in fear, is the origin of conflict. When you rush ahead without taking a breath or slowing down your speed, you miss the view of your internal and external landscape.

Each day you find yourself in your human vehicle ready or not to travel. You decide what to say, what to think, and what direction to follow. It may not be easily noticed by you, however, nothing is the same about you from the day before. Each day is new. Each moment is a new start so enjoy the freedom of the ride.
